Benji has been pals with Hillary Wentz for years, but their relationship slowly became romantic after Benji, 30, found himself down, out, and dumped by heiress Paris Hilton last November.
“Hillary already had a major crush on Benji,” a source close to the new couple tells Star. “She had to sort of win him over, but they started having romantic dinners and spending late nights watching old movies together.”
Benji and Hillary are even bonding over their love of body — – each reportedly has more than a dozen tattoos a piece.
The Star spy adds, “She has this tough-chick energy he’s really into, and they have so much in common.”
